With experience in excess of 40 years, the team at Mark Gratwick Architects has been established and well respected in Geelong and the Surf Coast since 1998. Whilst most of our current work is situated along the Great Ocean Road, the team has worked extensively in Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, and internationally.
As a medium sized practice with 3 full time architectural staff and technical assistants, along with a network of talented local contractors, MGA can offer the full range of professional architectural, interior design, and project management services.
The MGA team is adept at varied project types and scales with project scope ranging from large scale multi-unit developments and institutional projects, to individually tailored residential alterations and additions.
The practice specialises in creating an architectural aesthetic suited to each location individually, whether it be urban, coastal, or rural.

Mark has experience in all aspects of design and project management. He has worked predominantly in Melbourne, Perth and London, making the seachange to Geelong and surfcoast in 1999 after a long career as an associate director at Hayball Leonard Stent architects.
Marks strengths include masterplan design through to finite resolution of detail. He has productive working relationships with his staff, clients and builders, building strong teams with effective project management. Personally he maintains an attitude of professional calm and works to deliver exceptional products to his clients.

Charlie is an Associate Project Architect with over 10 years of industry experience. He is passionate about tackling complex projects and thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with design teams, contractors, and clients to achieve exceptional outcomes. With expertise spanning all stages of the architectural process—from concept design to project delivery—Charlie approaches each project with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering innovative and practical design solutions.
Outside of his professional work, Charlie enjoys surfing and spending time outdoors, often drawing creative inspiration from the natural environment.

Andy has extensive knowledge of planning requirements, architectural documentation, and project delivery. He has a strong interest in architectural history, conservation, and local heritage.
